Cookie Policy

Effective: 1 November 2026

Essential only

Nia uses cookies and browser storage only for things the service can't work without, so you won't see a consent banner. They're used to:

  • Keep you signed in to the Nia app (app.niaspark.com).
  • Share that sign-in with Notes, Todo and Calendar. A sign-in cookie is set on niaspark.com and its subdomains, so signing in once works across all of them. Each of those apps also keeps its own short session cookie.
  • Remember that you signed out of one of those apps, so it doesn't sign you straight back in.
  • Remember your display choices, such as light or dark theme, text size, and which panels are open, in your browser's local storage.

No advertising or tracking

We don't run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Nothing here follows you around the web or builds an ad profile.

Other services

Cloudflare, which carries traffic to Nia, may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for security and bot protection. When you sign in with, or connect, Google, GitHub, Microsoft or another service, that service sets its own cookies on its own site, under its own policy.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, you won't be able to stay signed in. Questions: privacy@niaspark.com.
