A task pane that puts Nia in the Office apps you already use — reading and editing the actual document you have open, not a copy, not an export.
Same document you're looking at — every change happens live, through Office's own APIs, not a file Nia hands back to you afterward.
Nia can read the full document or just its outline (headings and structure) before touching anything, get your current selection, insert or replace text — plain or real Word formatting (headings, bold, lists, tables, links) — and find-and-replace across the whole document.
Nia can list every sheet, read a range's values or its formulas, see what you've selected, and write values or real formulas back into a range — on the active sheet or one you name.
Nia can read every slide's text, replace the text in whatever shape you've selected, drop in a new text box at a position you give it, and add a new slide. PowerPoint's own API is more limited than Word's or Excel's — where something isn't possible, Nia gets a clear error instead of pretending it worked.
The task pane talks to the same Nia server everything else does — no separate company, no document upload to a third party. It only acts while you're actively chatting through it in that document; close the pane and it does nothing.
No — it's installed by sideloading a manifest file directly into Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (desktop or office.com), not a public Store listing.
It works anywhere Office's Add-ins platform runs — desktop Word/Excel/PowerPoint on Windows and Mac, and Office on the web.
No. It only reads or edits the document actually open in the pane at the time — nothing else.
